The Simple Dad Habit That Means More Than You Think

Being a dad isn’t always about the big moments.

It’s not just birthdays, vacations, or major milestones.

Most of the time… it’s the small, everyday things your kids will remember the most.

For me, it’s something simple—buying berries.

 It Starts at the Store

Every time I’m at the store, I grab fresh berries for my daughter.

Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries—it doesn’t really matter. I just know she loves them.

It’s a small habit, but it’s intentional.

Because being a dad isn’t just about providing—it’s about knowing your kids. What they like. What makes them smile. What makes them feel taken care of.

No Waste, Just Purpose

Here’s where it gets even better.

Whatever she doesn’t eat, I don’t let it go to waste.

I freeze it.

Later on, those same berries turn into smoothies—quick, healthy, and something she’s always excited about.

No complicated recipes. No extra effort. Just a simple system that works.

Why the Small Things Matter

From the outside, it might not seem like much.

But to a kid?

It’s everything.

It shows:
- You’re thinking about them
- You’re paying attention
- You care enough to make the effort

These are the moments that build trust, connection, and memories.

Being Intentional as a Dad

A lot of people think being a great dad requires big gestures.

It doesn’t.

It requires consistency.

It’s the little habits:
- Picking up their favorite snacks
- Sitting with them during meals
- Finding small ways to make their day better

That’s what separates average from elite.

More Than Just a Smoothie

At the end of the day, it’s not really about the berries.

Or the smoothies.

It’s about showing up in small, meaningful ways—over and over again.

Because those are the things your kids carry with them as they grow.

And those are the things they’ll remember about you.

Stay intentional. Stay present. Stay elite.
